~ Program Registration ~

The VACVB VDP certification is a unique Virginia-centric DMO individual professional certification. Using activities and events you have participated in since January 1, 2011 and forward, you may register for this certification program. There are two components to this certification program, a knowledge component and an experiential component, which must be completed to earn the VDP certification. You have two years within which to become certified and two years following certification to maintain your credentials. Before you submit materials, please register for the program. A link to the submission portal will be provided in your receipt. If you have any questions, please contact VACVB at 540-904-4710.

Spring 2012 Quarterly Meeting

The Spring 2012 Quarterly Meeting will allow the VACVB membership to come together to conduct business, hear from a guest speaker present on topics and issues related to the travel and tourism industry, have break out committee meetings and reports, share ideas and best practices, network, and communicate with fellow tourism professionals.

Registration Is Now Open!

Registration for individuals of DMO member organizations is $75. Allied Members are invited to send two representatives at no cost as a benefit of membership ($75 for three or more representatives from the same Allied Member organization).

Registration includes: Lunch and reception on Monday, breakfast and lunch on Tuesday; breaks both days. Monday evening's dinner will be on your own.

*Cancellation policy: Any reservation made under the group block must be canceled within 72 hours of check in. Any reservation not canceled within 72 hours of arrival will be charged for the initial nights stay. The hotel must be notified of early departures 24 hours in advance. Failure to notify the hotel of early departure will result in payment of one night and a $50 early departure fee.
