Three times a year VACVB members can network, share ideas, enhance their skills through professional development seminars and learn about changing industry trends with their peers while also being introduced to products that are available through the organization's Allied members at the VACVB quarterly meetings and Annual Tourism Summit.

The Virginia Tourism Summit & VACVB Annual Meeting is the association's event of the year. Over three days in April, the membership comes together for networking, information, education and celebration. The Tourism Summit & Annual Meeting is a great opportunity for DMO representatives to learn what products and services are available from the Allied members, not to mention the invaluable exchange of ideas and thoughts among other bureaus and organizations across the Commonwealth.

The quarterly meetings allow the membership to come together to conduct business, hear guest speakers present on several topics and issues related to the travel and tourism industry, have break out committee meetings and reports, share ideas and best practices, network, and communicate with fellow tourism professionals.
